Stamped Concrete - Do I use liquid release or Powder release....and How do I make a border without two pours?

Stamped Concrete - Do I use liquid release or Powder release....and How do I make a border without two pours? ConcreteForever.com: Uhaul, Pouring a concrete slab with integral color is the
preferred method to achieve an even color throughout your decorative
concrete patio or slab. Powder release in a darker color should be applied to
the concrete after it has hydrated to the point where you can start placing your
stamping mats, take care to apply the powder release evenly and thickly. Coat
your mats with the release as well prior to stamping. Having visqueen installed
under the rebar will assure an even and slow hydration.
Installing a border must be done monolithically by tooling in a control joint at
the desired width of the border, hand dusting color hardener over the border
and troweling it in, once it's fairly hard then apply your powder release to the
surface, texture the border with a stamp roller or mat.., Pull your forms once
you've textured the border and texture the sides before it dries.....good luck!
