Stamped Concrete Patio Non Skid Sealer - plum-colored stamped concrete patio

Stamped Concrete Patio Non Skid Sealer - plum-colored stamped concrete patio Question:
Skatt789; We had a plum-colored stamped concrete patio installed about 3
years ago, but it was very slippery when wet....we were told to mix skid-tech
powder into clear coat....this solved the slippery problem, however it
created a lot of ugly, white spots which keep coming up and really look
bad on the dark plum color.....Any suggestions on how to get rid of
spots and prevent them from coming back?....thanks for your help!...Scott

Answer:
Davvid1973: Scott, Anti skid applications on any decorative or stamped
concrete patio or pool deck should be done with a thick coat of Clear Gem-Seal
or equiv. Mix fine clear silica sand with liquid release mixed with a handful of
colored powder release that matched your patio decor, then mix this non skid
admixture into your gem seal. The acrylic sealer should be applied by hand with
a roller and brush and applied thickly....good luck!
